Black Friday report

Having completed all of my Christmas shopping, I had no reason to venture out yesterday. I did, though, to pick up a picture at the framer's. On my way home I noticed the K-Mart parking lot was fairly empty, so I decided to pop in to see if Martha's towels were on sale. 33% off. I grabbed a few, plus an apple corer for my husband (hereafter referred to as J) and I was off. Easy peasy, no trampling required.

I spent the bulk of Thanksgiving and Black Friday knitting. I knit one hat and two scarves. Chunky wool + big needles = near instant gratification.

Here are 10 recommendations for safeguarding your consumer privacy, from the director of the Electronic Privacy Information Center West Coast office. Some were new to me. I had no idea schools sold personal information to marketers, for example--that's rather creepy. (Thanks to J for the link!)
