Dogs love Greenies!

If you have a dog or a cat, you may be familiar with Greenies, those weird-smelling green treats in the shape of a toothbrush. They're quite expensive, but they do a number on dog breath and help keep tartar at bay (a plus for those of us who haven't quite mustered up the gumption to brush our dog's teeth at home).

One night I spent a fair amount of time looking for a cheap online source for Greenies. I found a site called GetTreats.com. I was a little apprehensive about ordering from them--something about the circa-1996 website design and the large "GetTreats.com DBA Black Swamp" at the top of the page...anyway, I decided to try them out, but I went with my American Express because they came through quickly in the past when I had trouble receiving an online purchase.

The order took a little longer to arrive than I've gotten used to, and they didn't answer my email inquiring into the status of my order, but the Greenies DID arrive--all 96 of them. I paid 32.90 plus 6.50 shipping for a total cost of .41 cents per Petite Greenie. That's much better than I could have done at PetSmart.com, where I would have spent .72 cents per Greenie.

I think I was even more excited about this than the dog was.
