A personal finance blogger (unfortunately, I can't remember who) recently linked to this NBC article about a credit card solicitor calling an elevator phone. In a similarly ridiculous vein, my coworker just reported that her cat received a credit card application yesterday.

My dog gets mail from the vet, but never any credit card offers.

I wonder who would be better money managers--cats or dogs?
