More on DHS/credit card pay-offs

J sent me this link of security expert Bruce Schneier's take on the Homeland Security/credit card issue. It has links to other discussions on the subject, as well as a link to the amendments made to the Bank Secrecy Act by the USA Patriot Act.

Seeing that we just paid off all our credit card debt to the tune of $22,000, it will be interesting to see how it plays out. Meanwhile it's hard for me to get excited until the payment is reflected online and my balance shows as zero.
