Time for a few quick tidbits
1) I cleared $35 on the 17-quart pressure cooker/canner I sold on Ebay. I’d bought it on Ebay myself for around $30, but it was too large for my cooking needs and I don’t can low-acid foods.
2) We’re waiting for the brokerage check to clear the bank, and then we will pay off all of our credit card debt. I can’t wait! It’s a good thing, because I got the word yesterday that I was turned down for another 0% balance transfer card. I’m slightly piqued about that, admittedly, but at least it doesn’t matter now.
3) I had a $1000 credit sitting on my credit card, but two purchases into it I decided it was too much of a test of willpower to leave it there. Gotta know your weaknesses. I called the bank yesterday and they’re sending me a refund check instead, which I’ll use to further take advantage of ING’s Winter Save-Up Sale. I saved me from myself AND I’ll earn interest.
4) I have a loverly new Dell Inspiron notebook with a 17” screen. My old laptop, which I bought in 2001, was not aging gracefully and had gotten a little quirky—charming in people, not so much in computers.
