Refund arrived!

I checked my bank balance this afternoon and found that our federal refund had been transferred into our checking account. I immediately set up a transfer to ING so that we could begin earning 4% interest on it.

I'm pleasantly surprised by how quickly it was processed. I'd checked the IRS website earlier in the day and was given an estimate of April 25th.

A surprise for the furry member of the family arrived today as well: he is happily chomping away on his Iams Tarter Treat sample, courtesy of Wal-Mart (the Tarter Treats are no longer available, but others are). I may let him give me lots of kisses later.

(What am I playing at? I'd let him kiss me anyway.)
