In California, and still not dead

I have to admit, I've been putting off posting because there was so much to post! The cost of the trip, of the moving company, of getting our cars here, paying for two dwellings for 2 months, etc.--I want to share all of that, but I can't seem to work up the energy to do the calculations (my estimate is $16,500, and honestly, I don't want to find out that it's much more than that)! J negotiated a higher salary in lieu of a relocation package, but at least much of this will be tax-deductible (as far as I know).

I'm also fairly busy with unpacking. We only got our things on the 9th, and there are still boxes and wrapped things everywhere. At least the coffee pot is unpacked and I'm no longer hitting Starbucks every day!

We're going to L.A. this weekend and I still need to pack, so I'll need to go for now. I promise more regular updates for my three readers. :)

I'll end by saying that I think Paris Hilton's furniture is pretty ugly and I can't believe people are shelling out good money for it.
