Both J and I now have Washington plates on our cars, so I can breathe easy while driving. I've been certain that everyone stuck behind me in traffic has muttered something to the effect of, "More damn Californians, driving up our housing prices..."
It wasn't me, I swear!
Went to the temp agency today. I had to take a few little tests (Word, Excel, typing) before the interview. I also did quite a bit of job-searching stuff this weekend, applying to a couple of things and tweaking my resume on the job websites. I've had no bites, but I'm feeling really optimistic lately.

That saying "those damn californians" seems to be a popular Northwest thing.
I lived in Oregon a short time during my internship and I swear the cops were following me all the time because my license plate was California. And when people asked me where I was from and I would say "the bay area," they'd grumble about us driving up the cost of everything!
on an unrelated note, i was cleaning up and throwing away paper lying around. and i saw some flyers i picked up from the hostel on seattle. you should check out Volunteer Park when you get a chance. it's a great place to bring the dogs. =) and i forgot elliot's oyster house has a great happy hou ... if you go at the beginning i think around 3, the oysters are super cheap.
Glad to see you back in Seattle! :)
I took down some posts about CB because we've been talking again, and it feels a bit weird to have that info up on the blog (even though everything's as anonymous as I can make it), but thanks for all your comments - they are very much appreciated!
By the way, would you add me on to your blogroll? I know you wrote your links need updating... I'd love it if I'm there when you update! ;)
