Better than shopping

I just spent about 20 minutes going through my Amazon wishlist and adding several of the titles to my "holds list" at the public library. Out of the ten, only two are available now, which is not such a bad thing--I can be assured of having books to pick up for the next couple of months, at least.

I get every bit as excited waiting for books to be ready to pick up at the library, as I do waiting for a package to arrive in the mail. And better yet, it's free!

I love the library! What a great thought though to make a wishlist and then borrow from the library what you were thinking about buying. I'll have to try that. :)

Awesome!

Do you use udell's library lookup bookmarklet?

it's a fun little tool worth checking out.

Wow, I miss the Seattle Public Library holds feature. I used that so heavily when I lived there. Alas, my current library doesn't have as good a hold system.
