I broke 800!

I'm a terrible blogger, I know, but I just had to post the news that my Experian FICO score broke 800 for the first time since, well, probably ever. Certainly since my bankruptcy in the mid-90s. I checked it yesterday because I was curious as to what effect my new mortgage would have on my credit report, since one of the previous "negative" influences on my score was that I only had credit card accounts on my report.

803. What a lovely set of numbers.

I'm in the middle of moving now, so it probably will be another stretch of time before I post again. Hope all is well in the financial blogosphere.

That is so great! When I bought my condo a couple months back I was thrilled to find out my score was 804! That really helped me get a LOW, LOW, LOW PMI payment! I love that I am viewed as low risk! Great job!
